UIA opens air traffic with Iraq

Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) will start performing regular flights from the capital's airport Boryspil to Erbil on the north of Iraq from June 3, 2014.

The carrier's press service informs about this.

“Ukraine International Airlines will for the first time open a direct regular air communication between Ukraine and Iraq - from June 3, 2014. The Ukrainian air carrier will perform the flights on the route Kyiv-Erbil-Kyiv,” a statement reads.

The press service informed that the flights between Kyiv and Erbil will be performed three times a week - by Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The aircraft will fly from Kyiv at 19:50, from Erbil - at 04:40 local time.

Flights on the route Kyiv-Erbil-Kyiv will be performed by Boeing-737 with two classes of servicing - business and economy flights.
